PROJECT OVERVIEW:

Tivish Sanasy, aka DJ Frequency X, is a Mauritian DJ, based in Toronto. The client required assistance in creatively directing and administering the visual cover for his first single release Dónde Están, that embodies the theme and concept of the song.

Utilizing my creative skills and experience, we decided to implement the main elements from the song to provide visual insight into the theme. The song ultimately focuses on women and is high-energy with several electronic music techniques used to create a unique audio experience. I wanted to visually capture these elements and the attribution to the client’s DJ brand, by including equalizer bars, often used by Audio Engineers and musicians.

By helping creatively direct, and guide the design strategy, we managed to effectively create the final high-quality visual, capable of being used for various marketing and print materials, including Social Media and Music Streaming Platforms (such as Instagram and Spotify).
