¿Dónde Están?: Cover Art

OBJECTIVE:

Create Cover Art for DJ Frequency’s first single ¿Dónde Están?

PROJECT OVERVIEW:

Tivish Sanasy, aka DJ Frequency X, is a Mauritian DJ, based in Toronto. The client required assistance in creatively directing and administering the visual cover for his first single release Dónde Están, which embodies the theme and concept of the song.

Drawing on my creative skills and experience, we decided to incorporate the main elements of the song to provide visual insight into the theme. The song ultimately focuses on women and is high-energy, using several electronic music techniques to create a unique audio experience. I wanted to visually capture these elements and the attribution to the client’s DJ brand by including equalizer bars, often used by Audio Engineers and musicians.

By creatively directing and guiding the design strategy, we effectively created a high-quality final visual suitable for various marketing and print materials, including Social Media and Music Streaming Platforms (such as Instagram and Spotify).
