OBJECTIVE:

Create Cover Art for Single “Tonight” by Tadiie.

PROJECT OVERVIEW:

Tadiie is a Zimbabwean R&B and Hip-Hop artist based in Toronto, Canada. In 2020, she sought assistance with creatively directing and producing the visual cover for her single, Tonight, to reflect the song's emotion and message.

The song is a new take on romantic love letters, incorporating elements of self-growth and empowerment, dedicated to past lovers who were not appreciative during the relationship. The client mentioned that the colour purple heavily resonates with her and wanted to include elements of roses. Elements that signify wisdom, love, spirituality, royalty, and mystery.

Providing visual updates and constant communication throughout the process enabled a successful, collaborative design strategy. This further allows the client to understand how I utilize my skills and experience to direct and administer the creative process to produce the final high-quality visual, suitable for various marketing and print materials, including Social Media and Music Streaming Platforms (such as Instagram and Spotify).
