PROJECT OVERVIEW: 

X2FromTheCIV is a R&B and Hip-Hop artist from Ivory Coast based in Toronto. In 2020, he required assistance in the creative direction and administration of the music video for his single Yours Truly.

The client requested the presence of a transition between the brain and heart elements featured on the brand logo., Using the logo as a starting foundation and utilizing my illustrative skills, I used hand-drawn digital illustrations to create the transitioning stop-motion scenes and animations that cater to the client’s request. After finalizing the stop-motion animation, I implemented graphic software tools with current stylistic trends through fonts, to add the remaining crucial elements, such as the song title and featured artists.

Constant communication throughout the process, allowed for a successful and collaborative design strategy. By providing visual updates throughout the process, the client was able to further understand how I utilize my skills and experience to direct and administer the creative ideas needed for the final high-quality visual, capable of being used for various marketing materials, including Social Media Platforms (such as Instagram, TikTok and Youtube).
